Mass Booklets
Why is it mass booklets are always left to the last minute? Exchanging vows are the most important part of the day, but get overlooked with all the additional planning of a wedding! Another reason seems to be trying to get hold of the priest to approve the contents...However priests are becoming rare! and are less available. There are a few ways to make your wedding mass more interesting, by adding a nice reflection
such as..

As you join in marriage, may life always
be a shared adventure, marked by a sense
of personal freedom, as well as mutual
responsibility. May you find in each other
companionship as well as love; understanding
as well as agreement. May the home you
establish be an island where the pressures of
the world can be sorted out and brought into focus;
where tensions can be released and understood;
where personal needs do not tower over concerns
for others and where warmth of humour and love
puts crisis into perspective and above all may you
find an even richer joy in loving and learning together.

Also composing meaningful Prayers of the Faithful that are relevant
to your lives/family and our immediate world, as against bog standard ones.

There are some nice readings out there, but some terrible old fashioned ones
that are not really relevant in todays world.

If you're making up your own booklets we can email you a template,
we can also print the covers for you. There are some ideas in the mass section
of this web site. We also do the whole chebang!

However Im resigned to always printing up mass booklets under pressure
as thats the way it will always be. I try to make them a bit different and more meaningful
But you only get married once (hopefully) so if anyones reading this, start now with your mass booklet!
