About Celtic Weddings Stationery
We are in business since 1996 and are a family run business. Breda completed a graphic design course in NCAD and specialised in Calligraphy. She saw a gap in the market for personalised wedding invitations. All designs are original and inspired by Celtic Art. Starting out, each invitation was meticulously inscribed in Old Irish Calligraphy which was laborious and time consuming. Breda realized how the monks felt working on The Book of Kells!
Over the years we have streamlined our operation, customizing our Old Irish Script font for use on computer. Invitations are printed by the offset method, which allows us to print short runs to individual specifications, on high quality board i.e. Customer chooses ink colour, card & quantity.
When invitations are printed they are trimmed using a guillotine, scored and finished off i.e. cards with inserts are glued in by hand. We believe our strength lies in being able to personalise each invitation making your stationery special and unique for your wedding day. New to our range are three part cards and wedding invites with tear off reply.
